Adopt a Cat from Stourbridge and District
Cats
Protection
This is definitely the most direct way you can
help a cat in need - give it a home. We always have needy cats in
our care eagerly awaiting for just the right home to come along.

How do I go about it?
- Ring our Adoption Line on
(
0844 884 8514.
Please leave your name, address (including full postcode),
telephone number and brief description of the type of cat you
are looking for. One of us will then call you back as soon as
possible. Please do remember that we are all volunteers so you
may not get a reply immediately.
- They will ask you a few simple questions
and if all is well, will arrange to come and see you at home.
Note that a home visit is an integral part of our homing
procedures, so don't be alarmed or offended.
- Having met and discussed with you what sort
of cat would be best, they will tell you about the cats in our
care and see if one can be matched to you.
- You will be invited to go along to one of
the foster homes to meet your potential new companion.
- You will be asked to sign a simple adoption
form before taking your cat home with you.
- All of our adult cats are neutered prior to
re-homing. If you are adopting a kitten you will need to sign to
say you agree to have the kitten neutered at the appropriate
age.
- Before you leave the foster home, don't
forget to give a donation. We don't charge for our cats, but on
average we spend £85 on each cat that we re-home.
- Finally, remember we have an extensive
range of leaflets to help you understand your cat's needs. Why not
send off for some now, so you can be well prepared -
